Hello all! I've had Sentinels for a long while, but there are quite a few cards that say "The first time X happens each turn...". Big example is Baron Blade's Backlash Field where "the first time Baron Blade is dealt damage each turn by a target, deal that target 3 lightning damage" or something along those lines.

By "each turn" is that each heroes' turn, or the entire "hero turn"? As in, each active hero has it's own turn, but there's a "hero turn" for all the heroes to do their thing, the same way there's a villain turn and an environment turn. Which is more correct? Cuz the former really makes that Backlash Field hurt X.x

It means each and every turn. If there are three heroes, there would be 5 opportunities for that ability to trigger each round (three hero, 1 villain, 1 environment).

As listed in the rules, each hero has a turn. There is no universal "Hero turn" because they have to act in the same exact order every single round.

Also, if it says "the first time each turn a target...." it means EACH target, so Unity can trigger it multiple times, once for each Golem. Yes, this is extra painful.

Thanks for the clarification, everyone! Guess I either take the hurt or find a "destroy an ongoing". cry
