Hi, I just picked up the OSS version of this game, but due to what I assume is some printing error, none of the playing pieces are labeled in the rule book.

So I'm left wondering, which pieces represent cadres, fronts, police, regular vs elite units, etc?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

True, the pieces are not labelled in the rule book but there is no error.
Rule 2.1, last sentence, directs your attention to the Unit Identification Chart, which is part of the set of player aid cards.
This is on the same card as the Scenario directions.
It does describe the pieces fully.

Hopefully you are not missing this card.
