We enjoy painting minis. I've seen in several videos to attach them to corks to make them easier to hold while painting.

How do you attach them to the corks? How do you remove the glue (or whatever) off the base when finished?

You can use poster tack, you can find it on Amazon or a hot glue gun. I have used super glue in the past, but, easier to clean up with a dot of glue from a glue gun.

Good luck!

As others, I use poster tack and usually attach it to a old Tylenol bottle or something similar.

I find blu-tack can get too tacky. Nowadays, I use white glue and paint pots. Use a brush to paint the glue onto the miniature. While the glue dries, I'm working on another batch of mini's. Depending on the mini, if the mini is a separate piece from the base, you *sometimes* might be able to pin the miniature to the cork. Drill, pin with a "long" piece of paper clip, then stick it in the cork while painting. When done, remove the mini with the pin, trim down the pin, then use it when basing the miniature.

I use either a milk jug top with a nail poked through it and a dot of superglue or a flower nail (cake decorating supply) and a bit of blue tack.

I use hot glue, which holds the minis quite well and it is easy to remove.
