The "New Flock" Gathering Adventure card doesn't have the usual "Shuffle into the Event deck" text; can I assume that its omission is a mistake? Otherwise I see no way for "It's All Vanished" to ever happen.

I ran into that card during my last game. And even though the text was missing, I also decided to shuffle it to the the Event Deck, for the same reason as you.
