When 'Strip Mining' the deck(s) at the start of a 'Blitz' game, do all rounds of strip mining come from the SAME deck, or does each player (when it's his turn) choose which deck to strip in that round ?

As far as I can see from the Blitz card, all rounds must come from the same deck, but in a game with 4-5 players, that will severely deplete the chosen deck.
Then of course, you Double Dip when priming the pump.
That would pretty much kill said deck.
Any pertinent thoughts please.

Hi Andy,

You are correct, all cards come from the same deck. So in a 4-5 player game the deck will be greatly depleted, which is why it's called strip mining. This is intended to make for a quicker game as it gives players a big boost.

Of course you don't have to use the Blitz setup in order to play with Esmerelda, you can always just stick with the original or another favorite. Also, if you really don't want to deplete a single deck you could house rule that you can take from two decks.

If you have anymore questions, you will find lots of information and helpful folks over at the forum for Firefly: The Game.
