This is the new Shaper console included in Terminal Directive, and based on the artwork it's definitively meant to be the console for Ayla "Bios" Rahim, the simulant specialist.

Clickless card draw is generally very desirable. But at 5 credits it seems a little expensive for what it does (I'm comparing it in my mind to Astrolabe), especially since it only delivers an extra MU. At 3 influence, it's also less likely to be splashed in other factions.

I wonder if we'll see a card sub-type for "simulant" at some point...

Another post reveals yet another card: Laguna Velasco District:

Resource: Location-Ritzy (Unique)
Whenever you spend [click] to draw a card (not through a card ability) draw one additional card.

This is like a pseudo Wyldside/Adjusted Chronotype combo for Shapers (click compression yields two cards, and one credit cheaper to boot).

Ubax is bad when Astrolabe exists

the difference between Wyldside and Laguna (aside from the seedy/ritzy) is that it works 'whenever', so

a) it's not required every turn
b) can be used more than once per turn

at 2 higher cost, it remains to be seen how useful it'll be, but it seems pretty good. i think if you use this, you run a deck without any other card draw (no Diesel, no Quality Time, etc.) unless it's clickless, like Astrolabe/Ubax like how shaper decks who run Magnum Opus pretty much don't have any other economy

i think these cards will be great for TD campaign. i'm interested in trying out Laguna in regular ANR, but i don't think i'd use Ubax as long as Astrolabe is in the card pool. i think once it rotates, i'll give it another look then.

Yep, I thought my math might be wrong when trying to match this card up to the combo that came to mind. Thanks.

Oh, found better graphic of LVD:

Would this combo well with something like Symmetrical Visage?

it works with Symmetrical Visage, yes, but idk if it necessarily combos well with it.

They're two separate effects which trigger based on spending a click to draw. Nothing wrong with it.
