There is an icon that resembles a planet at the bottom right on all of the Colony cards so that should help separate them.

we actually found 3 "versions/colors" of those: gold, white and kind of silver...

think all 3 are from "colony"?

Gold = Rare, 1 copy
Silver = Uncommon, 2 copies
White = Common, 3 copies
