Obviously Fat Leonard knows more about how to entice a navy man than I ever imagined, but using Douglas MacArthur memorabilia for sex toys was a stroke (yup, I know) of kinky genius:

Admiral, seven others charged with corruption in new ‘Fat Leonard’ indictment

I'm trying to un-see this. This takes me out of my safe space. Can I sue for being micro-aggressed?

Well these were SWOs, right? Not submariners?

Yes. But I am traumatized by thoughts of MacArthur's trinkets involved in dubious activities.

I suppose it's possible submariners could serve in some of those billets but none have been identified as such. I'll keep an eye out if any crop up in the news locally (sub community pretty big here in SE Conn. and I'd expect the word to get out if they are.)

Yeah, this could be the SWO's version of Tailhook as far as shaking up the community. 20 officers (and counting) is a big deal.

That was the bit that made it jump off the page for me as well. My first thought was "how does that work?", followed immediately by "I don't want to know".

U. S. history over the last year makes me feel like we've veered off course into an alternate reality, obviously directed by Stanley Kubrick.

It does feel like we are in the Twilight Zone. I just wonder what possible twist ending could explain all this.

Old soldiers never die, they just have their memorabilia used for sex toys.
