Nothing to fancy here. The game costs only $12, and you get a pad of map sheets for the players to track their movement, 5 dice, and a fold out rule sheet with basic, and advanced rules.

The game proceeds with a player rolling the dice and setting aside at least one die per roll. If a Nazgul appears you must save that. You cannot save more than 1 of any side, per roll. The facings on the dice are, Ring, Fellowship, Orc, Nazgul, and White Tree. If you roll a Nazgul of an opposing players color, it counts against that other player. Gandalf splits the Nazgul track spaces in half, Fellowship cancels out Orcs, and if any Orcs are left that aren't canceled, they will cancel all the Rings. The White Tree will end your turn without forcing another die roll.

That's pretty much it. First one to Mordor wins, if the Nazgul beat you, that player is eliminated.

The Advanced rules add special rules for each city you start in.

The game is an easy game to learn, and relies heavily on luck. It's quick, and can be a fun filler/diversion for 5 to 10 minutes, and is small enough to fit in a travel bag for on the go pick up games. This would also be easy enough to play while waiting on dinner at a restaurant since it takes up little space on the table. It's not deep, but you get what you pay for with this one.
