I'm moving to Sedona, AZ in 6 months and trying to get a feel for my gaming options. Any groups, stores, or individuals affiliated with/interested in wargaming in Northern Arizona (well, from the North Edge of Phoenix Northward to the Flagstaff area)?

If you are in the area in late May/early June, Consimworld Expo is being held in Tempe AZ. Its a weeklong convention centered on wargames. While there are a lot of monster games played, there is a fair bit of shorter stuff played too. It draws 300-350 people from all around the world, but there are also a fair number of locals as well.

Here is a list of who is signed up so far along with where they live.

I'm southeast of Tucson so not much contact with the Phoenix side. The link below can help you out in your area. They are hosting a game sale on 20 May in Gilbert I plan to attend and sell some stuff.

I'll second the Consim Con in Tempe. Even if you're not into monster games it'll give you a chance to network, just don't be shy. I haven't attended in a few years but may go up this year. I'm told open gaming has expanded and that's a good thing.

Welcome to AZ.
