Hey all,

I'm excited to get going with scenario creation using the awesome creator pack, but my only image editing software is GIMP, which doesn't do text super well. I also can't justify the cost of Adobe Indesign just yet.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you'd like to keep using open source software, you can try Inkscape (vectoriel editing) or Scribus...

I was considering creating a TileSet for the TileSystem app, just wasn't sure if there would be any demand for it...

I'd like to third Inkscape for vector graphic editing.

If you're looking for a raster graphic editor alternative to Gimp, I prefer Paint.NET. Yes, it has fewer features, but I find it vastly easier to use and it always does everything I need it to.

For cards, I've used nanDECK before, and it was great. Caveat: I'm a programmer by trade, and to get the most out of nanDECK you'd need to be able to use its scripting language. It's real simple to pick up, but if you've never done any scripting or programming it will probably be daunting.
