My 9 year old is allergic to nuts so there's very little candy he can have. We instead usually put a small game or toy in his basket. Any ideas.

He enjoys deck building, sci-fi, fantasy.

We are really digging Hogwarts Battle at the moment.

Sushi Go! or Sushi Go Party!

We have the party version and my 8 yr old wants to play it almost every chance he gets. It is small and offers deck building.

+1 Star Realms: Colony Wars - I feel the Colony Wars deck is a little more balanced.

I second "Sushi Go!"

Another he may enjoy is "Boss Monster".

Have to pitch iota. It is an abstract, but the design is just lovely.

Colorful, and it would easily fit in a basket.

The following are all good sci-fi/fantasy games, and are a good-size for n fit an Easter Basket.

I hear Eggs and Empires is good. think it is a small box, the game itself is only a small deck of cards. He likes fantasy so the dragon theme should go down well and the eggs fit in nice with easter

Welcome to the Dungeon - Good game and ticks the fantasy box

Star Realms - Sci-Fi deckbuilder and great fun, can go wrong

Great idea, although I personally didn't really care for the game (I traded it after Kickstarting it), it definitely fits the Easter Egg theme.

Maybe a Love Letter version? We love Love Letter: Batman but also enjoy Love Letter: The Hobbit – The Battle of the Five Armies. Just my recommendation inside an already good recommendation list! -m

Wizards of the Wild is pretty small. It's like a yahtzee tableau builder themed around woodland creature wizards. It's not the greatest game but it's okay.

I think I'm going to get my 6 year old BattleGoats for the Easter basket. It's not my favorite game, but we played it at the game cafe and he loved it. And it's small.
