Hello all,

Looking to start a small board gaming group in the Valley area of CT (Derby, Ansonia, Seymour, Oxford, etc)or the broader New haven area. Maybe 4 or 5 members for frequent get togethers (1 to 2 times a month or so). I can host here at my home in Seymour or a rotating hosting situation would be cool too. Into worker placement, dungeon crawlers or other heavily themed board games.

Hi Shawn,

I'd definitely be interested in something like this. What days/times did you have in mind? I have a friend who is also potentially interested, but we both have very young children, so the timing could be a little tricky. It would be great if we could work something out though!

Thanks

Chris

Hey Shawn, me and my wife are in shelton and would be into this. We host game days at our place every other month for 15ish people and have been looking to play with a more local group. Our house is open to host as well!

I'd suggest checking out Meetup.com as well. I think there is a meetup group for the New Haven area, but if I recall correctly it might be more focused on the stores in that area rather than some privatish (if that makes sense lol) nights. But it's still worth a checkout IMO.

Also I know there is a monthly event in Wallingford with the Geek Culture group at an IHOP. You might be able to find some players there from your area as well.
