I wonder if there was any discussion about having a companion app for the game, and for the previous game? In same cases, we end up covering information outside of the scope of what we are reading in the case book to leave it a mystery, or not to reveal anything by accident.

It would be great to have an app that allowed for you to:

a) Choose the case you are working on
b) Within the case selection, to have a selection of coordinate(s) for the different sections on that map, and a way to select the number you wish to investigate. (i.e. SW 24)

This selection will either pull up the section requested for you to read, or notify you that there is no lead. This can also help with tracking leads.

Thoughts?

Yes, this would be an enhancement. Ideally, each clue should be on its own page, but this would increase the cost.

Note that it is possible that there are bogus clues that cannot be reached when playing the game in a legal fashion, so not only should one play by the rules, one can derail the investigation if one does not. Never use any info that you did not get in a legal way.

I have thought this entire game would be ideal as an app for the same reasons you mention and others.

It has been discussed in this thread: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1294330/should-have-been-ma...

And here also: https://boardgamegeek.com/article/18807595#18807595

I have always thought this game would be ideal to play on a tablet version during long flights.

Yeah, there are a few other reasons why an Application would be idea. I agree.

Even just a PDF or ebook file with links would be great.

Or, I wonder if you could put each entry as QR code in the book.
