And, it so happened that we have an opportunity to make some more Crisis material, even if it is just a promo. As our current crowdfunding campaign for Long Live The Queen is ending, we are also finishing production design for the game, and it seems that we have some space in the punchboard.

So, given that we do not have anything about Long Live The Queen that we can put there, we decided to use it for Crisis! This is especially fitting for the dieselpunk edition of Long Live The Queen, which takes place in a very familiar setting as Crisis.

So, without further ado, meet the Spies!

The Spies are two very special Employees that can be added to the mix at the beginning of the game. If drawn, they are assigned to the player with the least VP.

As with all the other regular Employee tiles, there is a male side and a female side for each Spy token. Their illustrations were inspired by Long Live The Queen characters and created by Anthony Cournoyer, who did the illustration work for both Crisis and Long Live The Queen.

A Spy token can be used during Production to allow the player using it to gain money, resources or VP from a company that is producing them. The exact rules will be posted later, but that is basically the gist of their function.

Keep in mind that this is a promo tile, something fun and quirky that is not meant to significantly affect the flow of the game. It's just something we could do, so we did it.

A properly playtested and full expansion is still in the works, and given how much time Crisis itself took to be ready, the expansion will also take a while. As noted above, more info will follow via our newsletter.
