In the instructions for the 14.0 Scenarios (page 2), a Play Note reads:
Play Note: If you have four people, play A and B simultaneously,
the rest play with four.
1. Huh? If you have 4 players play A and B at the same time. Otherwise, play the rest with 4 players: What does this mean?
2. Which "A" and "B" does this Play Note refer to:
a. the alphabetic "vignettes" on page 2; or
b. the alphabetic portions of a scenario, such as 14.1.01 with A "Battle for Central Greece" and B "Ostracism of Thucydides"?
1. No, If you have four players, you play A and B simultaenously because those two are really two player scenarios, so two players will play A while the other two play B. Items C, D, E, F and G can be played normally with all four players. There's no "Otherwise" implied in the playbook. You're adding a word that isn't there.
2. The bolded alphabetic vignettes on page 2.
