Also adults who are rather ignorant of pop-culture...
We're a very conservative, "prudish" family whose children don't know much at all about contemporary music, movies, etc (unless they are for kids). I've seen multiple videos where names of songs or celebrities are trying to be guessed.
Would families like ours have a hard time with this game, or are there enough other choices on the cards that we shouldn't hit that problem?
Also, once you have done all the cards, does the game lose its replay-ability?
Each of the cards has 9 different answers (3 of each difficulty level) that can be used. So you can have someone draw a card and pick the one to use. If they truly can't find one, just draw another card. I don't think it's that difficult, as it's not really a pop culture type of game.
The game does lose some replayability once you use all the cards, but you can always make up your own clues and try to get everyone to guess. We've played it several times and haven't ran out of clues yet. But we also don't play it like crazy -- I think we've played it 10 times now and it's been ok. And honestly, unless you play it a lot, you won't remember all the words from before.
