This attack repairs hull. My question is, if you use it with full hull, but on that same turn an enemy hits you, does it repair the damage you take?

If so, this attack skill could do a lot to keep the (extremely fragile) bandit ship flying.

This ability repairs your ship once the enemy is destroyed. However, this can only be used if your ship has not already taken critical damage. As long as you have one hull remaining any savage salvage cards that have marked a ship that was destroyed restore 1 hull each (barring any modifiers). It is also important to note that enemy ships are announced as destroyed once you enter the regroup phase and all of thier hull has been destroyed.

This is extremely useful for the bandit but it alone will not save you from large amounts of damage.

So it can't save you from critical damage, even if you kill the marked ship?

Not with this ability. Otherwise, you could take massive amounts of damage from multiple ships and use one savage salvage to survive. There are thematic reasons as well but that is the ruling.

Oh yeah. That makes sense. Thanks for the reply.

Do you have any suggestions for tactics or gear for the bandit ship?

Not necessarily spelling out how to use it.. but maybe "glass cannon bandit 101 for zephyr" :-)
