This is my first Leader game. I'm thinking about getting counter trays (will order some for other games anyway). Do you have any idea how many I might need (and be able to fit in the box) for Sherman Leader? I have access to GMT trays.

I have DVG's Hornet Leader Carrier Air Operations, and used one of DVG's deep counter trays for all the counters. It fits into the box easily with the other components.

It all depends on how much digging you want to do while playing.
I like to have my pieces well sorted.
I'd plan on using 2 minimum.

One more thing,
Some counters are to be placed in a cup during game play.
I store these particular pieces in a snack sized ziplock bag.
When setting game up to play you just dump them into the cup.
When finished you pour them back into the baggie.
This leaves a couple of spots open in the tray for the pieces you'll need to find while playing.

I bought a pack of 25 dice bags for like $8 off Amazon. Instead of messing around with cups, I just throw a dice bag in each of my wargames that requires a container for chit pulls. Keep the counters in the bag, draw as needed, then when you're done throw the bag in the box with the counters in it!
