Can someone do a good scan of the reference map on the inside cover of the rule-book? Mine is stained and faded from 40 years of use and abuse.

Nice work, and thanks for posting. However, that map is from Gettysburg (125th Anniversary edition) and not the 1977 edition that the OP is looking for. Unfortunately, my copy of the rulebook is in sad shape as well so I am unable to assist.

Does anyone play GE '88? Wasn't it panned when it was released? I have it, but other than opening the box once, I've never played it, or even been moved to read the rules.

It's not a bad game at all, fun to play if not particularly historically accurate. Gives a taste of the Gettysburg experience for those without the time, space, or inclination to dive into a more detailed treatment.
