Has anyone tried to make a LMS or ALMS out of this?
And is it possible to get the cars?
I asked the same questions, this guy does an excellent range, though he did say I cleaned him out of his current cars.
He said he was going to do a retro range of Le Mans cars, old porsche, ferrari's and an Alfa I think.
He also said after that me may do some of the newer ones like Audi 8RC, Masserati 12C and a Mclaren F1, not sure where he is on any of these though.
I have found though with his original range you can say........ put a roof onto a 333 and make a Bentley 8 or cut the GT2 porsche up and make a GT1 etc etc
Since you've got the cars, did you make special rules for the Le Mans series cars or did you race as a normal FD game just swapping the cars?
We used the standard ALMS scoring for races.
We have the Sleepyhollow Miniatures cars: (Porche, Viper, Panoz, Panoz, Mercedes, etc)
And tracks for the 6 Race Series were:
10th Anniversary Track was used for championships.(I would prefer
the Mosport track if I could ever find it).
Rules additions included:
In corners, when a collision check was needed. We subtracted the Stop #
for that corner from the Black D20 die roll. (In otherwords it is more of a chance to collide in severe corners like a 2 or 3 stop.)
We also added the High Gear/Low Gear dice (5th Gear and 6th Gear)
as an option for the cars. But you had to use it for the entire
series. This can be easily represented on a standard black die D20,
but I just made a series of dice to use. (If you want a chart of
the numbers curve, send me a message).
