I'm getting married this October, and neither of us like to dance. So we've decided to just have some music on, and some games out for people to play afterwards.

The place we are getting married is a cliffside restaurant that overlooks the ocean. It's got a nice medium sized lawn area, and a small paved area that we can use for games. Both will be well lit.

We are already planning to have giant jenga (made from 2x4's). I'm looking for other games that we can play outside. Ideal games are simple to pick up, and don't involve tossing or rolling a ball. I don't want anything to fall off the cliff. A mix of player counts from 2 to 10 would be great.

Quarto Quarto for a great two player quick to pick up game. Also could make bigger versions if you know anyone decent at wood working.

That's a gorgeous setting. Mazel Tov. But cliff generally = wind. And wind + boardgames is usually a bad combo. You sure you don't want ball and frisbee tossing? Anyway, a few suggestions

- Tailgate games: cornhole, ladder toss, etc. \
- Charades / act-it out party games
- Set up an easel with drawing party games (I love fake artist in NY)

I second the idea of kubb, one of our favorites.

We also like Molkky quite a bit as well.

Both are common occurrences during summer parties and camping trips.

I recently got Kubb, but I've never played it. What are the odds that someone over throws a toss by 10 feet and it goes off the cliff?
