Same here. I read some session reports from Reluctant Enemies and started on the 4.2 series rulebook.

OCS is popular this monthlaugh

I have a copy of the 4.0 rules here at work and a copy of the 4.2 at home. There is little to no difference between the two, mostly just clarifications.

This just arrived in the mail yesterday. It's my first foray into the Jours de Glorie series.

I've played off and on for a long time, but I'm just now reading the rules front to back. Just got to 13.2f and apparently you can't just unload SPs wherever you want.

Be a little foolhardy to just drop it off out in the open. To be honest, I never thought about it. Loosing supply dumps at ungarrisoned airfields and towns when I was just starting out in OCS was bad enough.

A short and well written rulebook for a light, small footprint, solitaire, push your luck/wargame hybrid. Sounds crazy but it works. Another great game by Hermann Luttmann. Got in the mood for some ACW action, had this on the shelf already, and it hit the spot.

The Great Battles of Alexander: Deluxe Edition

I was going to sell this one on the Geek Market but missing a few counters.
Gonna wade through the rules and solo a game for fun

I'm out of town and posted the list while in a wifi network. If you have a rulebook on your table now, hopefully you won't kick it off in the next few hours before official June!

Not to worry.

It's already June 1 in part of the world, west of the International Date Line.

Good morning Japan, China, Australia, and New Zealand!

Going old school. I have been craving a game of the King for about 3 years. Time to do something about that.

Really excited to play this one! The playbook is written really well and I enjoyed reading through it. Now I'm tackling the rules.

Breakout: Normandy is still on the table due to real life getting in the way of my wargaming time (quite obviously since my posts on BGG have taken a nose dive!). If I can get some quiet time and can get through the rules I think it will be completed quickly since (from what I have read so far) it is similar though seemingly slightly more complex than the classic box of awesome called Storm over Arnhem.

I refuse to purchase games with as much buzz as Scythe was getting (even though I am turning into quite the Jamey Stegmaier fanboy) since the massive disappointment with the cattle plop in a box called Zombicide; I bought into the hype and got a box of minis with no sign of a game included with that one.

With Scythe I am a bit more optimistic but still hesitant to purchase right out of the gate; I finally purchased it yesterday. It appears to be the typical Jamey Stegmaier fare (which is in no way a bad thing!) and it looks pretty enjoyable for a Euro. We will see if this holds up; I have little doubt since all his games so far have stayed in my collection.

World War IV: One World, One King looks like a goofy alternate future Risk variant game with simplistic rules that I hope to get learned and played rather quickly. This will probably go on the trade pile fairly quickly since the whole DoaM genre doesn't do it for me (outside of the classic Fortress America). It doesn't get a lot of love here on BGG since I posted a question about it in its forums and am yet to get any reply.

Giving the rules to Gamma World (4th Edition) a go to see if it is worth expending the effort to get a game together. This doesn't have a great reputation so it may be a perfect game for my first attempt at being a GM (they won't know if it is a crap game or crap GM...I have my cover!)

ALWAYS! ALWAYS! ALWAYS!

I got Remember the Maine set up, but really wasn't feeling it.
Decided to switch to this instead:
