I just picked this game up at a retailer and was debating grabbing the expansion too. After one play I can safely say it's not my favourite game but it will hit the table again in the future.

Now my question is wheter I should get the expansion or not. It looks like it's just more variety in setup choices. Do people who have the expansion think it adds enough content to make it worth $25 (half the price of the base game)? Thoughts?

It adds like 6 new characters, which are kind of very nice
and it adds, i think 2 or 3 mechanics, including harder gamemode.

for me and my table i think it was worth gettin it, mainly because we played like every Weekend.

My Opinion: Totally get it if you like/love the Core.

I second this, very worthwhile if you like the game.
The new loot cards and the new characters add a lot of new strategies.
You also get extra components to play the epic mode, which last a turn longer.
