The "insert" for the box seems odd. You can't fit the patient cards in two stacks perpendicular to the insert. Overall it just kinda seems like throwing everything into the box. Any suggestions on how to tetris things into the box?

Here's another:
(A key to both of these is getting the dice in one layer.)

OR you could take the insert out. It's mainly there to keep things from moving around during shipping anyway.

This.

It's a cheap piece of folded card that does nothing to help store the game. I wouldn't even call it an insert (compared to wooden or vacuum formed ones anyway). It's just there to hold stuff for shipping.

I have my board on the bottom, then the rule book, then the patients in two stacks, then the line covers in one bag, then each set of player dice in individual bags, then the player aid, block tokens, charge cubes, charge board and emergency card in another bag. Fits perfectly and you don't have to worry about juggling everything about trying to squeeze it in.

I was trying hard to fit this all in a neat way (read: not just spread helplessly in the box) and failed. The insert just goes into your way.
