In rule 14.1.3 the ZoP of carriers is given as the hex they are in, plus a range of 2 hexes.

The example of interdiction of pipelines (relying on a ships ZoP) on p.27 seems to indicate that they only have a range of 1 hex as the Japanese unit can draw supply.

Could you clarify this for me. Bear in mind I stayed up until 2 a.m. to watch the election results so human error may be to blame.

The rule is correct. The example is wrong. The designer answered this on CSW.

Hope you enjoyed it. I didn't expect the result we got. I knew anti-tory feeling was very high in education (where I work) because of slashed budgets and various initiatives but didn't realise it had spread quite so far. Interesting times.
