It was a crazy week, but got in some indoor and outdoor play...
- 3.2 mi 25:51 (8:10)
- 4.0 mi 32:57 (8:13)
1x - Lord of the Rings: The Card Game
- 3x 4 mins swim w/ 1 min rest

- 6.5 mi 56:58 (8:46) - cramped up in the heat.
Another slow week of gaming but a recovery week fitness wise. Hopefully will get a few games in during camping trip this week and I'll be at Origins on Saturday for the Math Trade and browsing the Dealer Hall. Looking forward to seeing and trying some new games as well as possibly meeting some folks.

Huh... the 1.5 day delay did sort of do a number if I'm the 2nd post in this thread!
Well, without further ado...

Laying out my 4th game of Fields of Arle
Played Plague Inc.: The Board Game
as well as two games of Terra Mystica
very slow game week for me.
Although I only played games on 2 days this week, it felt like a great week because I got to play some of my favourite games that haven't seen much table time lately. And, all of my expansions for the one that's dearest to my heart - Cthulhu Wars - finally arrived! All in all, I managed 10 plays of 8 games. Plus I finished another PBF game

Light week for us this past week:
Ghost Stories (2x, 3p): My oldest kid, wife, and I tried twice. We failed twice. One of our lowest win-rate games in our collection.
Best Treehouse Ever (1x, 3p): My youngest kid beat her mom and dad tonight. She was very proud of herself as my wife and I did our best to knock each other down. We were successful in doing so, and the kid took advantage.
Saturday (Game Night at our friends' house)
Dig Down Dwarf (Second Edition) (1x, 2p): A quick filler before the bigger games. He whooped me, but I was learning the rules. I get a pass.
Great Western Trail (1x, 4p): Taught our friends GWT, and it went over really well. The wife won with a heavy cowboy strategy, and I lost big time with an unsuccessful heavy building strategy.
Captain Sonar (1x, 6p): Our first real-time game was cut short as my wife was feeling ill, but definitely a lot more stressful than turn-based.
7 Wonders Duel with 7 Wonders Duel: Pantheon (1x, 2p): I ended up pulling off a science victory, though she did everything she could to stop me including two cards from the Pantheon to discard the last science card I needed. I was just able to use another science card to put into play a discarded card for the win.
Hope everyone had a great week. We've already got a game of Feast for Odin under our belts for next week's report. Happy gaming, all!
1 x Exit: The Game – The Secret Lab
1 x Viticulture Essential Edition
I was kind of skeptical of the escape room in a deck of cards idea, but this was well done and for $13 I'd consider trying another. My only problem is that I have an issue with the wastefulness of tossing a game after one play. Seems like a lot of wasted materials and energy (not a money spent problem).
After 21 plays, Viticulture still remains a solid game in our collection. We're considering adding Tuscany.
Loony Quest x3
Dust Bunnies (play test)
Unnamed card game (play test)
Lords of Vegas
The Orzhov welcome you. Please leave your belongings with the Obzedat. They are not yours anymore.
Hi, I'm a european crested tit, and a very small punk rocker!
Dark Souls: The Board Game x 3
All of them solo. I received Dark Souls as a backer. I'm extremely disappointed because of what the game could be and is not, but at the same time can still find enjoyement in playing it. The three sessions were solo, with one controlling only one character (1 win) and two controllong two characters (2 losses before reaching the mini-boss.) I expect the expansions to bring much needed replay-value to the game as I'm already hesitant to play it again after only 4 games.
Aeon's End x1
Solitaire game where I try the two characters I designed against an increased difficulty's Blight Lord. I lost but I had fun and like my characters even though I need to fine-tune them. (they're both available in the game's forums: Luther and Lyza.)
Sentinels of the Multiverse x1
Solitaire game, Chrono-Ranger, K.N.Y.F.E., Mr. Fixer and The Argent Adept vs. Progeny in Rook City. A very fun game where I controlled Progeny until the end thanks to Fixer and Adept, and won.
Space Hulk: Death Angel – The Card Game x1
Solitaire game with 5 teams vs. Tyrannids. My first win against a Tyrannid boss, the Deathleaper. The Lexicanum killed like 12 Tyrannids in two turns. Insane. Winning this game doesn't happen often but it's a ton of fun!
Not a lot of gaming this week and the current week because of translating a game O.O
