This was our first game of Die Fugger. With three players there was ample opportunity to cause goods prices to crash (thwarting opponents) and raise the prices of goods without already high prices so that our goods would sink slightly but still retain value. Everything in the game seemed to work correctly and provide a respectable amount of tension. The quickness with which the deck is exhausted makes it hard to predict goods shortages.
Alan's goods for final scoring were almost worthless whereas I had managed to get mine to good levels. Jake managed to predict the two best goods (selling at 8 and 9), edging him just past me when my score ended the game. In a related note, if we play Dune then Jake isn't allowed to play the Bene Geserit.
Jake.....129 Michael..127 Alan......95
