A shared dream (Coop-Mode for Lucidity)
Dreamers – you have entered the realms beyond the dreams. You've been lured deeper and deeper. Nothing could withstand your combined power and you felt like the lords of the dream world. But it was a trap. You've been locked and your time is ticking away. Wake up -Escape before the nightmares awake and you are lost.
Maybe not everybody will return, but only united there's a hope to survive – the six-sided-nightmares!
For this variant an additional board is needed „The shared dream board“
Here the players collect the power to open the gates to escape the dream-realms.
A row of ten spaces per colour.
To win, the dreamers have to fill one row per player (if that's to easy, each dreamer who wants to escape has to collect 10 individual power or 5 power per awakend nightmare).
There's a shadow row for each nightmare on this board (4 space like on the player boards).
Dreamers may place a rolled shadow on the „shared dream“ board or their player board.
Placing shadows at the „SD“board does not trigger the powers printed on the player board. It's always „Draw a dream and place it on the corresponding nightmare“.
A rolled power may be placed at the player board or the „shared dream“ board. Either place it on a power row to open the gates or in the area of „shared power“.
This power can be used by every player during his round (e.g. to reroll dice).
Rolled Exhaust (zZz) or Hunt dreams are always placed on the player board.
A nightmare starts its hunt as soon as a number of shadow fields (corresponding to the number of players – so at a four player game, four fields have to be filled).
The dreams on the nightmare card +the shadows to activate the hunt are divided equally among the dreamers. Everybody rolls and resolves.
Each turn (nightmares act after all dreamers acted) each player has to reroll one power dream on his player board corresponding to the colour of the nightmare.
If he hasn't such a power he may take one from the „shared power“. If he still couln't do it his shadow in the nightmares colour rises +1.
If a dreamer reaches 3 shadow (like in a normal game) he turns into a nightmare and joins his master (acting like a normal nightmare in turn with the other players).
If all dreamers turned into nightmares, nightmare with highest power wins.
If dreamers open all needed gates, they win together.
