We enjoyed our outing, but it's only an occasional game. You have thirteen turns, and you're limited each turn to 2 of the 10 meridians (columns) you can build in. Inside each meridian, each tower must be a different size. Because you only have 20 tower pieces to spread across 10 meridians, and in a 4 player game, towers in each meridian will get to be 4 towers high, the usual strategy is to build as many 1 and 2 high towers as you can, giving you freedom in the end-game to build how you must in order to maximise your points (ie after all the tower shifting is done). Small towers are also less prone to shifting through the game. The downside to this strategy is that the big points are won on the islands won by the 3 and 4 high towers. The rules are quick, the game play is quick (30 mins) as the decision tree isn't that large, and there's a fair bit of luck in how the cards come out. A 6 after 2 plays.
