A friend knit these. For a long time we were like
Then they got filled with game bits and we were like meeple
Now I wonder which games can benefit from doily upgrades.shake

Nice! I'll have to show this to my needleworkin' significant other!

Are they collapsible, or covering a rigid inner structure...?

Totally collapsable, could work well for travel, cram em in a game box. Fairly thick cotton yarn (pretty stiff, importantly). Circles and bowls (and socks!yuk) aren't the easiest to make, but these would be great practice.

Edit: can see bowl insides in the full size pictures.

My knitter has been making socks all year, I agree, looked hard to get the hang of, but she's done it. Thicker yarn means fewer stitches .... sounds good

If you wanted to earn some Geek Gold, you could offer a set of these on Games 4 Geek Good (G4GG).

Then you could turn around and use that to try and win some cool games.
