I noticed that the claws attack on the alien infants and stalkers have a 0 for strength, I was really not sure what that meant in terms of testing for a hit. I assumed it meant auto hit but I did not know for sure. It through me off a bit.

It is not an auto-hit. It just means there are no modifiers when determining if you hit / your opponents armor save.

Okay that makes sense but then what do you roll to determine the if it hits or not?
