As the board fills up toward the end of the game, it can become difficult to figure out which craftsman you'll have enough money to pay, and which ones to use for larger monuments. This can lead to a lot of extra time trying out one pathway, only to find out that you're a few cows short.

Here's a little trick that may help:

1) When you place a craftsman tile on the board, stack a number of ownership markers on the tile equal to the cost of the good. Now just by glancing at the board, it is much easier to see the costs to pay each craftsman. Of course if you change price, you'll need to change the ownership marker stack as well.

2) When raising monuments, stack the cows needed to pay each craftsman on each craftsman tile, equal to the height of the ownership markers. Stack single cows on any hubs used. Once all the cows are placed, you can double-check that you have the required resources for each craftsman to use, and the correct number of different goods needed. Finally, as you mark each resource as used, distribute the cows for that craftsman to the proper owner.
