Hi boardgamers!

I will be on vacation soon! 4 guys driving through Spain with a rented camper van. I already searched the forum and the geeklists for good games to play with 4 people which are light weight and good to play on a smaller table.

Games I found so far:

Exploding Kittens (own)
Citadels (own, did not play much yet)
King of Tokyo (own, without the big box, maybe?)
San Juan (own, never played 4-player though)
Tichu
Smash Up
Love Letter

Would be nice to hear your thoughts on those games and maybe you have new suggestions? I won't be able to carry many games. So maybe 3 games will make it to Spain in the end.

Thanks in advance!

With 4 players, Smash Up won't fare well on a small table.

Here's a couple of suggestions:

Biblios
Coup
Welcome to the Dungeon
Tiny Epic Kingdoms (specifically Ultra Tiny Epic Kingdoms)

Deep Sea Adventure
Tiny box, small foot print that fits whatever shape table you have, plays well with 4 players, super quick to learn but still has some depth to it.

+1 for both Biblios and Deep Sea Adventure.

Consider Roll Through the Ages: The Bronze Age as well. Light, small footprint, portable, good for up to 4p. Rahdo did a recent run through for this.

There must have been a moment at the beginning, where we could have said no. Somehow we missed it. Well, we'll know better next time.

Red7 or Sequence are light games that may pass the time on your trip.

1st of all, have a blast!!!!

I think Munchkin could be an option (assuming you dont get mad in real life with in-game backstabbing). The only thing is, this game isnt short.

I have recommended this game twice, and I havent played it yet haha: Kingdominoes. This game is short.

Hope this helps!

Personally, driving a camper around, I would avoid games with lots of pieces like King of Tokyo.

Bring a standard deck of cards for Hearts and Spades. In my opinion, they're perfect for four guys on a road trip.

You need to learn about how to repack games to take up less space. 3 games is not enough!

This geek list should help.

Assuming you got some table space:

Dark Dealings should work great.

Grimslingers for some chaos but you might wanna use sheets instead of cards to track HP/EP/levels.

If the table's stable enough Star Realms should be good too. It's fun in multiplayer where politics take place.

Crazy Time if you house-rule it so no-one has to leave the room.

Hanabi should be fun too.

The Grizzled has a bigger footprint but it could work, depends on how much table space you have available.
