Have an extra Starship Troopers hard-back mounted map that I would like to use to make overlays out of.

What would folks recommend to use to cut apart a hard-back board for overlays?

Am thinking of a Dremel tool but think may be too much due to RPM's.

Or would it be easier to scan the boards, print out a sheet, and cut the sheet apart for overlays?

Any suggestion appreciated.

Scan the boards, then print out on A4 label paper to stick to the card of your choice (preferably something easier to cut than the original thick boards).
