I recently read a review of Yomi and I loved the concept of a beat'em up card game.

Yomi is, however, too complicated for these kids.

Pokemon seems to be another good example of this (I've never played it) but, again, there are too many rules and it's too complex.

Any beat'em up games that you'd like to recommend? 2 players max is fine, I work with large groups but I can divide them into two smaller groups.

Remember : I need games that are simple and totally language independent (i.e. no text).

Thanks in advance!

Take a look at TKO, it's a tiny boxing themed game. Otherwise I was going to recommend Dragon Punch but that does have text on the cards.

BattleCON: Devastation of Indines - nevermind, Lvl 99 Games are generally pretty heavy on text.
