Hi guys!

I've owned the complete serie of Hoplomachus for almost one week and I'm having a very good time with The Lost Cities and Origins (I haven't tried Rise of Rome yet).

I really enjoy making my gladiators fight in the big arena of The Lost Cities. However, I sometimes find the solo variant too easy unless I get unlucky when rolling dice for Bosses' Alt Att. So I decided to come up with some alternative missions called challenges that raise the difficulty and add some variety. They are kind of basic for the reason I didn't want to distort the game but if you guys like them, I'll try to come up with some more elaborate ones. Anyway, I consider they're a good start.
I haven't tried any of them yet but I think I'll get into by tonight. All suggestions are welcome!

None requires extra components.

All of them are played the same way as the basic game with some following exceptions.

A few of them are a harder version of the previous one.

Finally, they aren't ranked by croissant (EDIT: sorry, I meant increasing) difficulty.

Challenge #01
All rounds are played with only 5 Gladiator chips (instead of 6).

Challenge #02
All rounds are played with only 4 Gladiator chips (instead of 6).

Challenge #03
All Criminals and Beasts (but no Bosses) start with 1 extra health.

Challenge #04
All Criminals and Beasts (but no Bosses) start with 2 extra healths.

Challenge #05
Round 1: The Boss starts with 2 extra healths
Round 2: The Boss starts with 4 extra healths
Round 3: The Boss starts with 6 extra healths

Challenge #06
You face two random Bosses in the 3rd round instead of one (set up is the same as Coop-Play).

Challenge #07
You face two random Bosses in 2nd and 3rd round instead of one (set up is the same as Coop-Play).

Challenge #08
All friendly units that end their turn on a edge hexagon suffer 1 hit except if they've just been deployed. It's not an attack and so then can't be intercepted.
Criminals, Beasts and Bosses are not affected by this rule.

Challenge #09
Throw the blue die at the end of the board-turn. If Hit, all Criminals, Beasts and Bosses in play recover 1 health (can't exceed the maximum amount).

Challenge #10
Bosses' Alternative Attack occur if you roll 5 or 6 (instead of 6 only). Do not resolve Basic Attacks in this case (except if the Boss normaly uses it on a 6 roll).

Hope you guys like it. Feel free to mix different challenges to get a harder/unique challenge.

Yes exactly!

Sorry, in my language, "croissant" means croissant as the "bread" but also "increasing".

I'm still learning English.
