How do you implement these into the core set? I am planning on getting them, but wanted to ask first.

You can do straight swaps (replace Minion Type A with Minion Type B), or mix it up so you have different types of minions and elites running around at the same time. The Boss monsters can replace existing bosses, or you can add them in as "mini bosses" however you want. You can use any of them to homebrew scenarios, or use them with the scenario creator cards (the Mission Generator deck is a separate purchase).

It's worth noting, the packs don't include any real guidelines or instructions to work from. It's just the figures and the cards. The packs are really just a way for you to sandbox the game, tweaking existing scenarios for variety, or trying out some of your own ideas.

I like having lots of variety to draw from when setting up the scenarios.
