If you like Lorenzo il Magnifico and want to gain a greater understanding of the theme, read Paul Strathern's book "The Medici" http://pegasusbooks.com/books/the-medici-9781605989662-hardc.... Lorenzo was the most famous member of the very influential Medici family. This book tells about all of the historic people named on the leader cards and shows how they are connected to the family. Through several generations the family is involved in many major events in European history, so the book is an interesting read if you enjoy history.

Thank you for this. I borrowed it from the library. I don't see how anyone remotely interested in the time period wouldn't be hooked from the introduction. It's Magnifico!
