Hi everyone,

I've read a variant here on BGG about paying for Wonders with a delay before acquiring them. The idea is that you first acquire the technology that allows the Wonder to be built, then on a later turn you pay for it (10GP for Ancient Wonders, 20GP for Medieval Wonders, etc) and on the next turn you acquire the Wonder and any bonuses connected to it.

Has anyone tried playing with this variant? How well does it work? Would it be better to only have the Wonder become obsolete at the end of the *next* age, to allow for more usage out of it due to the longer building time?

Many thanks for your input,
