Sir Morholt III spends this turn entertaining children in Barflete.

Sir Harald Haraldsson is on the edge of Merlin/Morgan and can either avoid automatically or encounter.

Sir Kenneth of the Greenwood is nearing Camelot, to report his task's success. I hear he'll hit the town afterward.

Sir Ector of Ireland should catch up with Sir Danome.

Sir Balldanor will accompany King Cradelment on his way to York.

Sir Brutus the Knave...

* Sir Morholt III - Entertained children of Barflete.

* Sir Harald Haraldsson - Encountered Merlin and was sent to Faerie.

* Sir Kenneth of the Greenwood - Headed for Camelot Town, where he was seduced by Lady Hallews.

* Sir Ector of Ireland - Reached Cornwall and sought Sir Danome unsuccessfully.

* Sir Balldanor - Accompanied King Cradelment as far as Gwynedd, where the party was stopped by peasants.

* Sir Brutus - Ran into King Carados and was invited to a royal hunt at Bedegraine Castle.

Turn 23 is this way.

Groom the horse and polish the armor. Clean up after a nice breakfast. Saddle the horse and ride into Camelot.

I do not know if there are "encounter" rolls to be made or do I just ask to report my quest as finished...

Hmm.. Sir Brutus had intended to visit his liege at Carbonek but there's wizards in the way and lady luck has left us.

Lads, let's try something new....

Sir Brutus, and his comrades ride over the Trent.

The band enters Lincoln.

Luck of the Day 1d6 = (4) = 4

Balldanor spends the trip to York paying attention to King Cradelment and his men-at-arms discussions to try to gain any possible intel for King Arthur about the rebellion. Since Cradelment insisted that he join the knights on the trip, the attempt at borderline spying doesn't infringe on Balldanor's sense of honor.

Traveling 1d6 = (3) = 3
Traveling 1d6 = (4) = 4

(I'm sure one of those two rolls resulted in an encounter with the size of this party)

Back on turn 14 (so long ago!) you requested an Arthurian Dwarf from Arthur, and were handed a message to deliver to Caer Leon as your task. That's now done and you're finally back at Cemelot but...you can't claim your Arthurian Dwarf without breaking your Oath to "always travel alone" (exacted by King Brandegoris on turn 15). It may be a better plan to head for Camelot Town and hope to run into a Priest, get a friendly reaction from him, and then request a release from your oath. Once that's done, you can claim your Arthurian Dwarf without penalty.

I will encounter.

Who is it? custom2{Merlin;Morgan Le Fay} -> ( Merlin) -> ( Merlin)
Merlin's reaction: 1d6 + 1d6 = (2) + (2) = 4 = Sends to Faerie.

What a magical, strange place! You immediately gain 12 VP or CP, your choice. It's a good thing you were alone, as any companions and comrades would have been left behind (except for a Mascot).

While in Faerie, the following Sequence of Play replaces the normal one:

1. Luck-of-the-Day: As usual.

2. Encounters: You do not move, but have a normal countryside encounter if you pass a Luck Test. (If a Mad Knight, Monster, or Goodly Hermit Man is indicated, no encounter occurs, as these beings are not found in Faerie.)

3. Magic: You may exchange a d6's worth of points from CP to VP or vice-versa.

4. Departure: If you wish to get back from Faerie, you make an Appeal to Jailor. When released, you return to a randomly determined countryside (there is no encounter upon arrival).

So, will it be CP or VP?

Your Luck says otherwise...
* Sir Tor Luck Test 1d6 = (6) = 6
* Sir Dinadan Luck Test 1d6 = (5) = 5
* Sir Launcelot Luck Test 1d6 = (2) = 2
* Sir Bors Luck Test 1d6 = (1) = 1
* Sir Pelleas Luck Test 1d6 = (3) = 3
* Sir Ector Luck Test 1d6 = (6) = 6

Sis Tor and Ector are enjoying the spectacle, but the others are being distracted from their pilgrimage. I assume you're appealing to each of them?

* Sir Dinadan (VL 3) Virtue Check 1d6 + 1d6 = (4) + (2) = 6
* Sir Launcelot (VL 2) - automatically successful
* Sir Bors (VL 1) - automatically successful
* Sir Pelleas (VL 5) Virtue Check 1d6 + 1d6 = (5) + (6) = 11

So they're all staying after all. You'll be on the road to Rome next turn!

Suggestion: Despite your low Luck, it's still worth trying to request Arthur's Favour from any one of your comrades...

Yes, your encounter number is 3 (King Cradelment, you, and the King's escort, Sir Gingalin), so you have an encounter as soon as you reach Gwynedd.

Encounter: 1d6 + 1d6 = (4) + (4) = 8 = Peasants, clogging the road as usual. Could there be jacquerie behind all this?

I was unaware I do such a thing.

What can I request?

Page 22: Requests

If the PK is, at the end of his turn, in the presence of a friendly person, he may make a Request of this person. PKs may not make Requests of unfriendly persons. Once the Request phase is ended, if the individual has not joined the PK’s party, the card (if any) is shuffled back into its appropriate pile.

Of an Arthurian Knight you can request: Arthur’s Favour; Join; Pray.

Clearly you're not in need of prayer, and they've already joined you, so you can only ask for Arthur's Favour: The Arthurian Knight or Castellan will put in a good word for you with King Arthur, so the next time you make a Request of King Arthur, you will receive +1 on King Arthur’s reaction. Arthur’s Favour is then consumed (erased from your Adventure Journal); you can obtain it again by repeating the Request. Arthur’s Favour is not cumulative (you may not have more than one such bonus at any given time).

I'll allow you to use the best Luck-of-the-Day you've had since you started off on this Adventure, on turn 18.

Once that's done, you can claim your Arthurian Dwarf without penalty.

That's the route then. Look up the local clergy. Please roll it up for me.

To Camelot Town then. Encounter: 1d6 + 1d6 = (3) + (3) = 6 = Wanton Lady. It's Lady Hallews, an Enchantress!

She tries to Seduce you. VL Check to resist: 1d6 + 1d6 = (1) + (1) = 2 vs your VL of 2 + 4 (her Seduction Adjustment). Fail! You're befuddled into entering her service. You gain the Service Award (14 CP) but lose her VL (7) in VP.

Release from Enchantress’s Service is another thing you can request of a Hermit or Priest...

I'll allow you to use the best Luck-of-the-Day you've had since you started off on this Adventure, on turn 18.

Accepted!

Turn 18, Luck-of-the-Day 6
Turn 19, wasn't rolled: 1d6 = (2) = 2
Turn 20, 4
Turn 21, 2
Turn 22, 6

Luck Test: 1d6 = (5) = 5

Success! Sir Launcelot will speak to Arthur in your favour.
