Fun fact (If not already stated elsewhere).......

Just got the game and started to read the rule book. In the Introduction on page 4 it says "Ye intruders beware! Crushing death and grief, soaked with blood of the trespassing thief....". This is a line from The Goonies movie (one of my all time favorites!). This is a good sign that I will really like this game.

There are several references from movies, music songs etc spread around the various books of the game. Which is awesome.

I noticed this one too. In fact I re-watched Conan the Destroyer last night because of this. I love how the theme is sort of tongue-in-cheek, over-the-top, cheesy which really fits in well with the best movies, games of the genre.

The generic "Evil" is great too. I see how some people could be turned off by this but it is a huge plus for me.
