Since many of you already have played the game and - as I can imagine - have a ton of ideas for events of adventures, I think we can start the first edition of the fan based content brain storming.

The rules are simple. Please, post in this thread a card proposition - either event or adventure.

Fluff:
Last night we played Monopoly which resulted a brawl in the group. At some point even the table was pushed over.

Rule:
Stress increases by number of astronauts

Action(2 pawns needed):
You found a cooperative board game in your stuff, called Robinson Crusoe. Surviving together an a Cursed Island gives you hope: +2 Morale

Future Consequence:
You step on a Monopoly pawn barefoot. These damn shiny things hurt! First player -1 health.

Fluff:
NASA has picked up a large dust storm heading in the direction of the Hub

Rule:
1 Astronaut loses an Action this round, liaising with NASA and plotting the course of the storm

Action(2 pawns needed):
Take action to move solar panels closer to the hub to reduce risk of damage

Future Consequence:
-2 reduction in Energy Production from the Solar Panels.

MCEI surprised us with a video-chat with The Martian.

Rule:
Chose one: gain +1 on morale track or -X on stress track (X = number of players)

Action(2 pawns needed):
You feel inspired and confident after the talk. +2 Morale or fix one Crew Quarters malfunction.

Future Consequence:
You spent hours re-reading The Martian. Gain 1 Morale, but lose 1 action.

Crowdfunding

Fluff:
You failed to record vlogs for your supporters for many days now. Your personal inbox is filled with disappointed and angry comments.

Rule:
Increase stress level by 2.

Action (2 pawns needed from two different astronauts):
You record a special vlog with a guest star, this will satisfy all your subscribers.

Future Consequence:
Letting down your supporters makes you sad and your mood also impacts your fellow astronauts, the group’s Morale goes down by 1. Also, your next crowdfunding project will most probably fail.

Title:
Wow! signal

Fluff:
There was some odd narrowband radio signal received by your radio telescope originating from Saggitarius constellation. Could it be the Wow! signal from 1977 repeated again?

Rule:
Gain +1 on morale track, everyone's excited we're not alone.

Action(1 pawn):
Send the signal to MCEI to ivestigate it further.

Future Consequence:
While you're struggling with the mission, something very important for the whole humanity might be lost. Or was it just some interference on the radio? You don't know and it bothers you, increase stress by 2.

Chose one:
- every crew member loses 2 morale tokens and forgets about the signal till the current mission is complete, or
- the first player decides to forward the signal despite the mission's goals: he loses 1 pawn this round and gains 2 morale tokens.

[Gather Adventure]
Title: Umm, base: I really did it this time!!

Fluff: While collecting samples of ancient geothermal deposits, a landslide of boulders with very sharp crystal inclusions cascades down and tears a hole in the arm of your suit. "Shit! This rip is huge, and I'm losing pressure fast!" Your vision blurs and your heart rate soars as you attempt to patch the hole with one hand.

Rule: Gain 1 wound, lose 1 (morale) token. This gather action is automatically unsuccessful (do not collect 2 (morale) tokens). If you are the only astronaut on this gather mission, lose all your (morale) tokens in addition to the 1 wound. (If you do not have a rover, roll the yellow malfunction die to determine number of wounds, but stop short of outright death).

Future consequence: The next time this astronaut takes an EVA (only this round) and after all pawn crew assignments have been made: roll the yellow malfunction die. On a roll of 2 or 3, 1 pawn from that astronaut must go to a Quiet Place, unless that astronaut discards 2 (morale) tokens. No additional pawn assignments may be made this round after this occurs. (Note: an assigned action may need to be cancelled if you lose the ability to carry through with it; affected pawns may be forced to do nothing this round.)

Adventure format: EXPLORE

Title: Guys, I'm stuck out here!

Fluff: The rover comes to an abrupt halt; warning lights flashing across the board. You hit the comms. "Guys, we have a problem the Rover has broken down". You wait nervously for the sound of a comforting familiar voice. "Stay calm we're on our way to you."

Rule: Discard a spare part from the cargo bay and increase stress by 1.

Future consequence: Roll a green wound die for Froggy. If you receive the wound symbol place a Blocked modifier in the Froggy's x space in the depot.

Title: Comms Blackout with NASA

Fluff: Atmospherics and increased solar activity are interfering with your ability to relay messages to and from Earth.

Rule: Increase stress by +2

Action (2 pawns): spend a CPU part to reroute comms via the landing vehicle and boost signal

Future consequence:
We missed an urgent message from NASA regarding a potential malfunction in the Working Block. Draw and resolve a Working Block Malfunction card.

Title:
Yeah, good one!

Fluff: The First Player, known for a sharp sense of humor, relates a story during a break that has the crew rolling on the floor with laughter.

Rule: -5 (stress). Crew begins the day at peak efficiency. Skip the Malfunction Phase for this round.

Action: Each astronaut must assign 1 pawn to a Quiet Place to simulate the telling of the story.

Future consequence: While attempting to relate a humorous story, the crew was distracted and a connection in the Living Block began shorting out, unnoticed. Increase the Living Block Malfunction track 1 space.

Adventure format: Explore and/or gather

Title:
On the horizon (or something a bit more distinct if too general)

Fluff: When you are about to head back to the HUB you notice something dark on the horizon.

Rule: Decision: Stay a bit to observe (YES) or continue your trip back (NO)
If YES, then
Fluff: You find out the a sand storm will pass over this area and are able to warn the others and plan accordingly.
Gain 2 Morale tokens.

Future consequence: (Next round if you chose NO) A sand storm hit the region after you left. Place a -1 Action token on the ROI.

Event:

Title
Schiaparelli Rescue

Fluff
The 'Some Clever Name', a commercial consortium, has landed a three
person team in the Schiaparelli crater to perform a mining
exploration feasibility study. During pre-takeoff checks, it is
found that the ascent module is damaged. The crew will die unless
we can send them the required repair part.

Rule
Lose on repair part to gain +1 on morale track.

Action
Commit 2 pawns to event action space to send repair part to Schiaperelli mission.

Future consequence
The stranded astronauts die over the course of several turns. Each time one of the astronauts die, lose 2 on moral track.

Rule:
Reduce power production by 1
Put shutdown tile on Command Center
Take additional AOM pawn of your choice

Action(2 ASTRONAUTS pawns needed + 1 CPU spare part):
Return added AOM pawns of your choice to the box.

Future Consequence 1 (round N+1)- it do not resolves event:
"Hello Astronaut <name>, my calculation suggests that our mission is at risk, I've transfer power from Crew Quarters to unused AMP,"

Choose additional AOM pawn
reduce electricity production by 1,
put a shutdown tile at Crew Quarters,
increase stress +2

Future Consequence 2 (round N+3):
"Hello Astronaut <name>, your efficiency is not satisfactory and threaten my goals on this planet, you have to be terminated"

Return all added AOM Pawns
All astronauts receive one wound
put Quest tokens on WorkingBay >> and ! spaces
roll Malfunction die for Living Block and resolves its effect

Title: Opportunity Discovered!

Fluff: MCEI has managed to reboot the Opportunity Rover and with one astronauts assistance, has sent it as close as it could to the HUB remotely before batteries ran out.

Rule: 1 astronaut cannot use 1 pawn this round

Future Consequence: Put an objective token on R2-S. If this token is gathered, you can spend -2 energy and have an extra pawn (the oppurtunity Rover) that can be used for further explore/gather/research/build actions

Title: Blue Screen of Death

Fluff: It appears the latest software update has caused our computers to crash.

Rule: Move one examined sample back to the available supplies, or one discovered sample back to the examined space.

Future Consequence: Our brilliant IT guy back on earth resolved the software issue! Move one sample from the available supplies to an examined space.

Some of the instructions for systems in the hub appear to have been either mistranslated or left out altogether requiring CONSTANT communication with MCEI and with amateur mission enthusiasts.

Remember to put some red tokens on some systems (maybe throw in a black one, too).

Check the mission sheet or maybe the objectives in the app, who knows? Imagine how helpful a good editor would have been.

Research Adventure:

Title: Did Something Just Get Loose in the Lab?

Fluff: While researching in the lab, you hear a crash behind you and turn to see broken glass on the floor and... out of the corner of your eye, DID SOMETHING JUST RUN BEHIND THAT EQUIPMENT?

Rule: +2 Stress and place a -(action pawn) on the >> space in the lab

Future Consequence (should display after Action phase of next round):

Supplementary transmission from HQ: "Hey, if you find a rat running around in the lab, please catch it and bring it back with you. Don't kill it, it's the pet of the last research scientist that was there. He said the rat's name is Heisenberg and he likes it when you call him by name." -2 Stress and, if an astronaut paid the penalty to use the lab this turn, that astronaut gains 2 Morale tokens.

Explore Adventure

Title: A New Friend

Fluff: You've come across a strange man in a spaces suit. He says his name is Matt. He seems rather paranoid. You take him into the hub.

Rule: +2 stress, gain one pawn (Matt's assistance)

Future Consequence (after 2 rounds): Matt appeared to be friendly at first. But quickly turns on the crew. He beats up one astronaut, takes some food, and leaves the Hub, never to be seen or heard from again. -2 Food, The first player takes 1 wound, remove Matt's pawn from the game.

Research Adventure:

Title: Cooking Up a Little Something in the Lab

Fluff: So much work to do and so little time. Better living through chemistry, right?

Rule: Gain one pawn. Place a (reroll success) token on this pawn. This pawn can only be on your next turn and only for a Working Block action. If a success die is used and rolls a check, reroll the check and use new result. Discard the pawn with the token after use.

Future Consequence (2 rounds later): One of your pawns MUST be used for an action in either A Quiet Place or Crew Quarters.
Fluff for Consequence: "Coming down sucks much worse in space."

Title: Do AOM's dream?

Fluff: During routine maintenance an unknown code was found rewriting the AOM program while it was in its sleep mode.

Rule: Stress increases by number of astronauts.

Action (2 Pawns): Shutdown and hard boot AOM. Unknown code no longer present everything back to normal.

Future Consequence (1 round): Crew agrees to allow unknown code to finish its sequence uninterrupted. AOM has programmed itself to be more aware and self sufficient. Next one time use of AOM equal to 2 pawns and crew member assist is not required.

Title: Crop blight

Fluff: it appears that one of the plants has developed some form of blight. Almost certainly a contamination brought from Earth.

Rule: Morale -1

Action (2 Pawns): You spend time carefully pruning the plants to remove all the blight

Future Consequence (2 rounds): The crop has been badly damaged. Take 1 plant and move it to step 6 on the seed track. If there is already a seed on step 6 move that back to step 5.

Title: Dormant Virus

Fluff: This morning one member of the crew has been struck down by a sickness bug. The virus must have been lying dormant somewhere in the hub

Rule: Choose a random astronaut and either reduce the number of available actions (pawns) by one this round, or incur a wound to take both actions this round.

Action (1 Pawn): Take samples and investigate the illness. The rest of the crew take anti viral drugs.

Future Consequence (2 rounds): Another random crew member is struck down by the virus. This astronaut loses 1 action this round.

Title: “Come on, you are being so petty!”

Fluff: Working together in close quarters can be difficult at times. We have to work this out.

Rule: Stress +2, The Lead Astronaut gains no morale tokens this Sol.

Action: The Lead Astronaut can commit 2 pawns (No AOMs) and takes 1 wound or all Astronauts must commit 1 pawn (No AOMs) to “A Quiet Place” this turn.

Future consequence: If this is not addressed immediately stress will increase an extra +1 each new Sol.
