It seems that I spam some GeekMail to random users, with titles like this:

Re:=?utf-8?B?Rnc6IGhvdyBpcyBpdCBwb3NzaWJsZT8=?=

I never sent these GeekMail, nor these GeekMailare in my sent box.
It seems some sort of virus or spam on the GeekMail suystem.
At least three of these messages have been reported to me up to now.

Could you resolve this?
Thanks.

Geekmail or e-mail?

There's simply no way for what you are describing to happen within the Geekmail system, except for being deliberately sent.

Perhaps some samples could be provided.

Sounds like the same as what was reported in this thread: "Piracy it's so cool!" geekmail from geekbuddy who sent no such mail, but then from the "sending" side.

My analysis: Your email account was likely compromised (if online: change your password, if local: run a virus scanner; with both: also change the password to every single online service which is linked to your email address), allowing a spammer to harvest all your contacts / recent emails, which includes geekmails, and then this spammer is sending spam automatically made to look like those geekmails.

There's a lot of unknowns and possible variations on the above, but it's quite likely that the essence of what's happened is the same.

Geekmail. The spam mail arrived to the geekmail account of some others. Is it possible from email to send messages directly to geekmail? If yes it could be my email system.

That's a base64 encoded string and decodes to "Re: Fw: how is it possible?"

Does that help you figure out where it came from?

No, it is not written by me or to me.

Is it possible, from an email account, to send to a geekmail?

If yes, it could be my account that has some problem. If not, it could be a problem originating from geekmail, I think.

Yes, you can reply from your e-mail address to a Geekmail, and have that reply go through the Geekmail system to the person you were replying to. See the thread linked above for details. It does indeed sound like this is what is happening here.

Send a geekmail to
