We're playing a two player game. For example, if there were only two creatures on the same capital city, is that a total of 4 fame loss due to 1 fame loss per creature on land (for 2 players) and 1 additional fame loss for each creature on a capital.

or

Would it just be 3 fame loss total due to only 1 additional fame loss for having creatures in general in one capital?

We were a bit confused from the Sunrise card of Legend 7, stating each creature standing in a capital city or in the ruined city would have one more fame deducted. Followed by that important message saying multiple creatures can stand in the 3 capital cities and ruined city and "each will cost one additional fame."

From what I remember, you loose 1 fame on each creature present on earth + 1 more if it's in a Capital. So if there's 2 creature, it's 2 more fame than the one you count from all the earth creatures.

The loss of fame per monster on land is depending on the number of heroes.

2p - 1
3p - 2
4p - 3

In addition to this loss you lose 1 fame per monster in a capital. Monsters can stack up in capitals.
