Just played this scenario for the first time, and with only two players. I think it was the easiest win we've had yet in Commissioned! I was in Europe, my wife was in the Near East, and we had Missionaries in the other regions which, naturally, weren't at all affected by Trials. This is what might make it too easy. What has been the experience of others?

Of course, at a high player count, there will probably be apostles in all the regions, making it much more challenging.

And, yes: the next time we play this scenario two-player, it will most certainly be at martyr level!

No, not really.

As I said, though, I think playing it at martyr level is probably the easiest and most satisfactory fix.
