My kids & I played this game but they wanted some more interaction
What we did was to:
1. grab some mini's 2. grab some random hallway & room style tiles
So that each turn actually had some movement with mini's.
1. all players started with on a 'treasure room' style tile 2. tiles were laid were laid at the beginning of every turn 3. we rolled a D4 & laid the number of tiles required 4. each tile was a single location & either a hallway tile or room tile 5. mini's moved by rolling of a D4 6. if a player landed on a space that was occupied combat resulted 7. we kept very simple - roll 1D6 - highest number wins & takes 1 random treasure card from the loser
Rest of the game was played as is - worked nicely for the kids
