I see there are different resource production for different variants of the game. Is the following the way it is suppose to go?

1) Standard Game - All 6 resources set at 1 for beginner corporations and for other corporations. Then for corporations like Helion, all resources are still set to 1 except for energy (in this case) which is set to 4 (original 1 + 3 from hellion corp card)

2) Corporate Era Game - No Resources production to start, just the resource production called out on corporate card choose (if any there). If someone chooses beginner corp, he gets no starting production.

3) Solo - No Resources production to start, just the resource production called out corporate card choose (if any there)

It is actually extremely simple: if you don't use the corporate era cards you have a production of one, if you use them start with a production of zero. Then add whatever is on the corporation card.

Yes, if you change "energy" for "heat" on the Helion example, your examples are correct.

You can also just set production at 1 when playing with the corporate era cards if you want a quicker game. Nothing stopping you We do it sometimes and it doesnt break the game or anything.

"The standard game variant does not use the Corporate Era cards [CE]and the players start with 1 production of each resource, plus what the chosen corporation gives."
