Hi does anyone remember the name of an old mechanized warfare game that took place on a toroidal planet?

Any map with both edges touching is technically toroidal but in this case it was actually a deliberate game feature. The planet was pictured as a doughnut shape and there were rules for ICBM's moving through the hole, iirc. :/ And it's a generic theme and old.

It's a long shot thanks for the help.

Any idea how old? When did you first play the game?

Perhaps it was Black-Hole by Metagaming?

It likely was Metagaming's "Black Hole"; that one featured that sort of gameplay:

Another more recent game is Solar Marine. The maps for small asteroids or moons forms a torus.

I wouldn't call Dan a grognard. His font of useless knowledge is much broader than just wargames.
