Hey guys !
I've been having a problem choosing a game .I constantly having to look up for reviews and..frankly I am sick and tired.
Me and my girlfriend are trying to dig in deep in the Descent and for the most part we enjoyed it .

But we're trying to get something new .
Playing Pandemic:Call of Cthulhu wasnt really a pleasure to play.

So here I am .Looking for a good Coop game, with good re-play and a cool story .We're able to give a chance even work placement onces but currently 2-4 is good cuz we got friends and all .

Games that take 60-120 mins are okay for us due to many years of Game of Thrones the board game.

Easier rules but deep strategy is always good.
Hidden placement games are lovely.

Thank you.

For worker placement, our group likes Stone Age and Viticulture.

If you like the Tolkien universe, have a look at the Lord of the Rings coop game.

It seems you want Legends of Andor.

Eldritch Horror scales well from 1-8. Pure coop. Fairly thematic.

+1 LOTR. But this game can become a lifestyle (it's a "living card game").

I've never played Robinson Crusoe, but that looks great.

Also, Commissioned appears quite strong and thematic as well. But, alas, I haven't played that either.

I too have not played Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island, but it's obviously well rated and I believe it has the hidden placement you desire. I have seen people complain about the rulebook though. Perhaps that was corrected in the newest version though. It also has the story aspect you're looking for.

I have Commissioned and it is a solid co-op with a serious feel to it. The deck building on the side makes it interesting and sets it apart from other games for me. You also play your cards in secret, so it has that hidden placement aspect as well. The only caveat is that it does share some similarities, mechanic-wise, with Pandemic (you move around a board placing cubes instead of trying to destroy them).

We've been loving Spirit Island. It may run long with all four players or if you've got AP going on, but it's got a ton of strategy and replayability.
